 NBSD offers a convenient method of managing a large Criminal database using Fingerprint Biometrics and optionally a PC Camera. Using biometrics ensures proper enrollment and identification of criminals. The Live fingers of every person who is caught for committing a crime are captured / identified and stored in local or central database through a Web interface. The image of the person can be optionally captured for maintaining a record. Crime pattern analysis can be conducted based on person, geography, frequency and so many other factors.
The system will help bring down the time to identify a known criminal irrespective of where the crime is committed. There is also a scope for mobile checking of criminals.
